Delivery

Items are delivered by one of our National or International couriers. The courier will be assigned depending on the best delivery quote provided based on weight of items and delivery address. Generally for International deliveries we have assigned one courier based on best quote available.
If you are ordering from a country outside our couriers range, we shall call you with the best quote available. In such instance you can proceed to checkout without delivery. You can then send us payment via Paypal for delivery separately, once we have confirmed the delivery quote to you. You could  also arrange courier yourself if preferred, please state this when ordering.
Hand Engineering Ltd. has agreed base carrier costs, based on size, weight of item and delivery address to most countries within the EU. All costs exclude vat, you will be able to see the final price including vat and delivery before you complete your order.
If you are outside the EU, or we were unable to get a delivery quote for that area we advise you to contact us before ordering to receive a delivery quote. We will provide a delivery quote within 1-2 working days of your enquiry.
After you place your order the courier may call you within 5 working days (if your item is not in stock at the moment you place the order, it may take longer), to arrange delivery. If the courier cannot contact you, delivery may be delayed, so please provide a valid daytime telephone number when you place your order.
The courier will deliver the item assuming there will be someone at the delivery address to take collection. On the day of delivery, the courier will ask you to sign a delivery confirmation. 
To enable speedy delivery, please provide the following information when you place your order:

• An up-to-date daytime contact telephone number.
• A full and correct delivery address and postcode.
• A contact name

Returns Policy

When you make an online purchase you have a statutory right to return goods (other than made to order/customised goods) up to 7 days after receiving your order: this is the cooling off period. In addition to this cooling-off period, you can return any item within 28 days of receipt for a refund of that item, or to exchange it. We can change or cancel an order up until it is dispatched. If the order has been dispatched, you can return the goods to us and we will organise a refund (excluding delivery cost).

All products leaving Hand Engineering Ltd. premises are checked to ensure they are clear of defects.  If a product is defective , do not sign the delivery docket, once signed you are in acceptance that the goods arrived to you in an acceptable manner.
If the product is defective upon receipt please return it immediately and we will either deliver a new one to you or refund you the cost of the product. Any breakages or damages must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery.

All items returned must be in their original condition.

In order to guarantee speedy processing of your returned items, please contact us within 24 hours and report the damages. It is important that you provide us with as much information as possible to process your claim.
